Overview
Own the hands-on assembly of precision mechanical components at a leading aerospace supplier. You will read blueprints and assembly instructions to build and verify parts at a 1st shift operation with potential overtime. What You'll Do8
- 1Build basic and complex mechanical components using setup sheets and work instructions
- 2Install bushings pins plugs helicoils inserts and rivets
- 3Perform part marking using vibro pencil electro-etch and dot peen equipment
- 4Conduct pressure testing and complete documentation per blueprint requirements
- 5Apply adhesive bonding roll staking straightening and other assembly operations
- 6Read and interpret manufacturing planning blueprints sketches and instructions
- 7Enter documentation into the manufacturing ERP system
- 8Maintain assembly supplies and materials and keep a clean safe workspace
Requirements5
- 12+ years of mechanical assembly experience or equivalent shop training
- 2Ability to read manufacturing planning blueprints and sketches
- 3Basic knowledge of GD&T
- 4Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- 5Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally
