Overview

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator leads skilled nursing facility operations ensuring resident care compliance and financial performance. This role involves representing the facility in the community fostering relationships with residents families and staff while driving operational excellence aligned with corporate strategy. What You'll Do9

  • 1Provide overall leadership and management of the skilled nursing facility
  • 2Ensure compliance with CMS state and federal regulations as well as corporate policies
  • 3Oversee delivery of quality resident care in collaboration with nursing therapy dietary and social services
  • 4Manage facility budget financial performance and census growth
  • 5Lead mentor and evaluate department heads and staff to promote accountability and excellence
  • 6Support admissions and marketing strategies to achieve occupancy goals
  • 7Maintain effective communication with residents families and community partners
  • 8Oversee recruitment onboarding and retention of staff
  • 9Collaborate with Corporate and Regional leadership on strategic planning quality improvement and operational initiatives

Requirements10

  • 1Current active Nursing Home Administrator license in Ohio
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration Business or related field
  • 33-5 years of progressive leadership experience in long-term care
  • 4Master's degree preferred in Healthcare or Business Administration
  • 5Experience with multi-facility or large skilled nursing operations
  • 6Proven success in survey management and census growth
  • 7Ability to walk stand and interact with residents and staff frequently
  • 8Frequent travel for meetings training and corporate initiatives
  • 9Work in a 24/7 healthcare environment flexible for evenings weekends and emergencies
  • 10Integrity and accountability resident centered leadership style strong ethical professional standards results driven strategic thinking collaborative team focused approach
