Overview
Design and lead holistic activities programs that enhance resident quality of life across spiritual cultural physical intellectual and social dimensions. Own development of engaging monthly bulletin boards and activities calendar. Lead large group sessions such as discussions sing-alongs and exercise classes. Manage volunteer program and facility operations. Ensure adherence to approved budgets. Requirements7
- 1Minimum 2-3 years experience in activity planning event coordination or senior living healthcare settings
- 2Bachelor degree in Recreation Gerontology Social Work or related field preferred
- 3First Aid certification
- 4Excellent interpersonal communication skills and passion for senior care
- 5Ability to operate VCR DVD player and stereo system
- 6Physical capability to lift carry supplies and move around community spaces
- 72-5 years of relevant experience required
