What You'll Do11
- 1Support mission vision and culture of Tampa Gardens Senior Living
- 2Perform scheduled activities while maintaining regular attendance
- 3Promote resident attendance at events and activities
- 4Assist with planning and implementing events and activities
- 5Conduct group activities including sing-alongs and exercise classes
- 6Assist residents with gardening projects and holiday decorations
- 7Operate VCR DVD and stereo systems
- 8Maintain high school diploma or equivalent certification
- 9Hold valid First Aid Certification
- 10Work 8:30am - 5:00pm Sunday - Thursday with occasional evenings
- 11Foster positive atmosphere through recreational programming
Requirements9
- 15+ years experience with activities for seniors with dementia or in senior retirement communities
- 2Planning and engaging seniors with great energy and kindness
- 3Communication skills for operating audio-visual equipment
- 4Customer service attitude for interacting with residents
- 5Physical stamina for assisting with gardening and holiday preparations
- 6Reliability for consistent attendance and punctuality
- 7Background check clearance required
- 8Drug-free workplace compliance expected
