Account Executive, Long-Term Care Pharmacy Services
Overview
Long-Term Care Pharmacy sales professional owning the Ohio market with an emphasis on strategic solutions and contract negotiations. You will partner with the RVP of Sales to drive revenue, expand PharMerica’s presence in skilled nursing, assisted living and managed care segments, and ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts. This role blends field outreach, contract leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, with remote flexibility and substantial travel.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and qualify high-potential opportunities with profitability in mind, contributing to annual revenue goals.
- 2Drive account onboarding by finalizing contracts, coordinating startup, and transitioning services to pharmacy operations.
- 3Develop and execute strategic territory plans using segmentation data to target top prospects.
- 4Strengthen customer relationships by delivering ongoing value through PharMerica products and services.
- 5Coordinate with Account Managers, consultant pharmacists, and staff to uncover leads and resolve service issues.
- 6Complete sales, reporting, and contracting activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- 7Participate in industry trade shows and local events to expand territory influence.
- 8Maintain adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and ethical guidelines.
- 9Collaborate on training and implement sales processes such as pre-call planning across the team.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2Long Term Care experience preferred
- 3Two or more years of prior sales experience
- 4Three to five years of healthcare sales, medical equipment sales, consumer products and services/solutions experience a plus
- 5Experience selling and negotiating contracts for products and services a plus
- 6Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- 7Must have valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 75%
- 8Results oriented, adaptable, product/service knowledgeable, organized, and have strong oral communication skills
