What You'll Do11
- 1Build and inspect detailed parts using right angle heads and various cutting tools
- 2Determine machine setups based on route sheets and technical drawings
- 3Maintain clean work areas and ensure safety compliance
- 4Use precision instruments like dial calipers and micrometers for accuracy
- 5Edit programs and note corrections in control systems
- 6Provide timely updates on production issues affecting quality or delivery
- 7Suggest program improvements to reduce run times
- 8Analyze tooling and setups for optimization opportunities
- 9Read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
- 10Load and unload heavy parts using overhead cranes
- 11Apply algebraic and geometric calculations for measurements
Requirements11
- 1Proficient in 5-axis machine tool setup and operation
- 2Technical degree or 5 years related experience
- 3Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations
- 4Familiarity with DMG MORI Okuma Hyundai Fanuc and other machine tools
- 5Strong problem-solving skills and CAD/Cam programming experience
- 6Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- 7Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office proficiency
- 8Indoor machine shop environment with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
- 9AS9102 and ITAR Compliance knowledge
- 10Journeyman’s License and G-Code certification
- 11Experience with CNC Machine Setup Changeover and Manual Machining
