Overview
Lead CNC Machinist expert level responsible for setting up and operating manual and CNC machines to produce complex low-volume parts. Manage full setups from prints ensuring precise part zeroing and fixture selection. Interpret complex blueprints GD&T and 3D models to develop optimal machining strategies. Optimize feeds speeds tooling and offsets for quality efficiency. Troubleshoot tooling setup and part accuracy independently. Ensure in-process and first article inspection compliance. What You'll Do7
- 1Run Manual and CNC Machines at expert level
- 2Perform full setups on CNC mills and/or lathes from print or model

Requirements9
- 15+ years of CNC machining experience with focus on complex setups
- 2Strong proficiency in reading technical drawings GD&T and setup sheets
- 3Understanding of machine offsets tool presetting and basic G/M code
- 4Experience with multi-axis machining or live tooling
- 5Solid understanding of machining processes and techniques
- 6Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers
- 7Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- 8At least 5 years relevant machining manufacturing experience
- 9Familiarity with blueprint interpretation and technical documentation
