2nd Shift Supervisor, Warehouse Operations
Overview
Own and direct the Warehouse Operations Team at the ROC coordinating donations, movement, loading, storage, and inventory control for GCNA. Manage daily performance metrics and safety adherence at the Phoenix facility. Collaborate with partner departments, maintain brand standards, and drive efficiency improvements. This role combines people leadership with hands-on operations and safety accountability.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the Warehouse Operations Team to coordinate product placement, storage, movement, and loading/unloading of trucks
- 2Monitor daily and weekly inventory and team performance to drive improvements
- 3Schedule and control expenses while ensuring customer service quality
- 4Maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept ROC that reflects the Goodwill brand
- 5Communicate status of equipment, staffing, and operations with partner departments
- 6Prepare daily work assignments including equipment and staffing needs to ensure efficient operations
- 7Conduct forklift audits, support safety compliance, and develop improvement strategies
- 8Operate a forklift as needed and maintain forklift certification
- 9Provide performance coaching, discipline, and development support for Team Members
- 10Support culture change and change management efforts within the organization
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 22+ years supervisory experience or equivalent work experience
- 3Must be at least 18 years of age
- 4Ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate others
- 5Ability to speak and read English proficiently
- 6Qualified, or ability to become a qualified, Forklift Operator
- 7Familiarity with OSHA Regulations regarding Warehouse Operations
- 8Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 9Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
