Zone Lead, Visual Merchandising & Store Operations
Overview
You own visual merchandising and zone execution across a warehouse-format store, driving sales through precise product presentation. You report to the Assistant Store Manager and lead transitions, resets, and daily task management. You coach team members on visual standards and maintain a culture of safety and compliance. This role demands physical stamina and a hands-on approach to stock and display.
What You'll Do7
- 1Plan and lead zone transitions, reinventions, and product resets with the Assistant Store Manager, ensuring visual integrity and a clean, organized environment.
- 2Execute daily and weekly task plans to hit merchandising and sales goals, prioritizing guest engagement and efficient completion.
- 3Process incoming freight, sort and stock product, and maintain down stocking and end cap integrity in your zone.
- 4Support store operations including customer satisfaction, inventory control, shrink, safety, and loss prevention by participating in team huddles.
- 5Coach team members on visual merchandising techniques and create visual moments that enhance the customer experience.
- 6Review store scorecard data on sales and expenses, then act within your zone to improve key metrics.
- 7Keep all signage and sets current in your zone, ensuring the store reflects season and promotion standards.
Requirements8
- 118+ years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2Pass a background check and have open availability including nights and weekends.
- 3Lift 50 lbs individually and 100 lbs as part of a team, and move merchandise throughout the store.
- 4Stand or walk for prolonged periods, with ability to bend, climb, and reach.
- 5Work independently and with a team, showing strong attention to detail for standards and processes.
- 6Communicate clearly and concisely with excellent verbal and written skills.
- 7Model ethical behavior and promote teamwork, creating urgency and motivating others.
- 8Handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
