Youth Outpatient Clinician, CBHI Therapy & Family Services
Overview
You will own a caseload of children, adolescents, and families, delivering evidence-based therapy under the Children's Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) framework in the Brockton area. You will work alongside therapeutic mentors, family partners, and community programs, with a team backing every case. You will conduct diagnostic assessments, treat clients, and coordinate care with schools, PCPs, and DCF. This role combines clinical autonomy with structured support, including free supervision toward independent licensure and a hybrid schedule.
What You'll Do6
- 1Conduct diagnostic assessments and deliver individual, family, and group therapy tailored to each client's needs.
- 2Develop treatment plans collaboratively with clients, setting measurable, time-specific goals grounded in medical necessity.
- 3Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with internal therapeutic mentors and external providers like schools, PCPs, and DCF.
- 4Maintain timely clinical documentation: progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within required timelines.
- 5Manage your caseload proactively: follow up after missed sessions, document those efforts, and protect continuity of care.
- 6Submit billing and administrative documentation by the end of each business day.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related clinical field.
- 2Massachusetts license as LICSW, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT. Pre-licensed clinicians considered with an active supervision plan.
- 3Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
- 4Comfort with EHR-based documentation and standard office technology.
- 5Bilingual in Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, or Haitian Creole (preferred).
- 6Experience within the CBHI service array (Outpatient, IHT, TM, In-Home Behavioral Services).
- 7Trauma-informed training in TF-CBT, ARC, CPP, or similar (preferred).
- 8Experience with first-generation, immigrant, or BIPOC families (preferred).
