Yacht Sales Support & Closing Agent
Overview
You will own the end-to-end closure of yacht transactions at Apex Marine, a Miami-based division of Off The Hook Yacht Sales. 5+ years in transactional roles positions you to manage contracts, funding, and compliance from contract to final transfer. You will support a team of brokers and sales leadership, handling listings, CRM data, and marketing across platforms. What You'll Do10
- 1Coordinate all operational aspects of yacht closings from contract execution through final transfer.
- 2Prepare, review, and track closing documentation, including purchase agreements, loan agreements, promissory notes, title documents, Coast Guard documentation, UCC filings, lien releases, payoff requests, and settlement packages.
- 3Ensure all buyer, seller, vessel, lender, and compliance documentation is complete, accurate, and properly executed.
- 4Monitor transaction timelines and follow up on outstanding items to avoid delays, updating status across CRM systems.
- 5Maintain accurate transaction files, closing checklists, and status updates throughout the closing process.
- 6Support brokers with vessel listings, specifications, photography, pricing, and marketing materials, coordinating uploads to company systems and third-party platforms.
- 7Drive marketing efforts for new listings, sold inventory, email campaigns, social media, and website updates.
- 8Enter and manage data in CRM, track leads, coordinate customer follow-up, and generate sales reports.
- 9Coordinate boat show logistics, events, and promotional activities.
- 10Verify closing requirements are satisfied prior to disbursement, coordinating wire instructions, payoff requests, and lien releases.
Requirements6
- 15+ years in administrative, closing, sales support, transactional, title, finance, or operational roles.
- 2Experience in yacht sales, marine lending, vessel documentation, luxury sales, automotive finance, or mortgage preferred.
- 3Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
- 4Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and transactions simultaneously.
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), CRM systems, and marketing/listing platforms.
