What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare examination rooms and equipment based on patient requirements
- 2Verify patient identity and procedure orders before imaging
- 3Explain diagnostic procedures to patients and answer questions
- 4Operate x-ray and fluoroscopy machines following safety protocols
- 5Document patient records accurately according to established standards
- 6Maintain sterile environments through proper disinfection techniques
- 7Collaborate with physicians to transmit critical findings
- 8Control supply inventories and clean examination spaces
- 9Stand walk and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
- 10Develop technical expertise in radiologic imaging modalities
- 11Adhere to radiation protection guidelines during all procedures
Requirements10
- 1Current ARRT certification with associate degree preferred
- 2Proven experience with C-Arm systems
- 3Strong communication skills for patient interactions
- 4Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- 5Detail-oriented approach to documentation and patient care
- 6Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout workday
- 7Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
