Overview
We seek a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our fast-paced orthopaedic surgery practice. This dynamic role involves imaging services supporting orthopaedics pain management spine surgery and podiatry across multiple locations. The ideal candidate performs diagnostic imaging ensures patient safety and produces high-quality images. A strong understanding of anatomy medical terminology and imaging systems is essential.
What You'll Do7
- 1Prepare patients for imaging procedures explaining the process and ensuring comfort
- 2Operate radiologic equipment safely adhering to safety protocols and adjusting to urgent emergent cases
- 3Maintain accurate patient records using an electronic health record system
- 4Collaborate closely with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques
- 5Monitor patients during procedures ensuring safety and well-being
- 6Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment
- 7Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiologic technology best practices in emergency medicine and orthopaedic care
Requirements8
- 1Proficient in diagnostic radiology techniques particularly X-ray
- 2Strong knowledge of human physiology anatomy and medical terminology
- 3Familiarity with urgent care protocols and emergency medicine practices especially in orthopaedics
- 4Ability to operate complex imaging systems efficiently in high-pressure situations
- 5Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration
- 6Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- 7Experience with electronic health record systems
- 8ABR Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology required
Salary Insight
$83 - $94k per year
