What You'll Do13
- 1Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
- 2Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms and provide verbal or written instructions
- 3Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls for optimal image quality
- 4Operate imaging devices to generate diagnostic images following established protocols
- 5Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff
- 6Maintain equipment functionality through regular calibration and QA/QC procedures
- 7Report equipment issues to the Center Operations Director
- 8Perform DOT and non‑DOT drug and alcohol testing
- 9Administer vaccinations, phlebotomy, and other ancillary tests as directed
- 10Assist clinicians with procedure setup and emergency patient triage
- 11Manage front‑office duties including patient greetings, check‑ins, and record keeping
- 12Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
- 13Collaborate with leadership to optimize patient flow and operational efficiency
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2State‑approved Limited Scope Technician certificate and applicable license
- 3Six months minimum medical assistant experience with X‑ray familiarity
- 4Proven knowledge of occupational medicine requirements
- 5Certifications such as CPR/First Aid
- 6At least six months experience in medical assisting
- 7Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- 8Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- 9Ability to handle confidential health information securely
- 10Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- 11Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
