What You'll Do13

  • 1Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
  • 2Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms and provide verbal or written instructions
  • 3Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls for optimal image quality
  • 4Operate imaging devices to generate diagnostic images following established protocols
  • 5Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff
  • 6Maintain equipment functionality through regular calibration and QA/QC procedures
  • 7Report equipment issues to the Center Operations Director
  • 8Perform DOT and non‑DOT drug and alcohol testing
  • 9Administer vaccinations, phlebotomy, and other ancillary tests as directed
  • 10Assist clinicians with procedure setup and emergency patient triage
  • 11Manage front‑office duties including patient greetings, check‑ins, and record keeping
  • 12Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
  • 13Collaborate with leadership to optimize patient flow and operational efficiency

Requirements11

  • 1High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2State‑approved Limited Scope Technician certificate and applicable license
  • 3Six months minimum medical assistant experience with X‑ray familiarity
  • 4Proven knowledge of occupational medicine requirements
  • 5Certifications such as CPR/First Aid
  • 6At least six months experience in medical assisting
  • 7Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
  • 8Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
  • 9Ability to handle confidential health information securely
  • 10Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • 11Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
