Overview
You will own the daily operations of Thuma's Presidio headquarters, creating a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and candidates. This role blends office operations, hospitality, employee engagement, and event execution, reporting to the People team. You will coordinate with IT, Recruiting, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless experiences. 5+ years in office management or hospitality experience is required. This is a five-day onsite position in San Francisco.
What You'll Do10
- 1Own daily office operations at the Presidio headquarters, ensuring the space is organized, stocked, and running smoothly.
- 2Champion a hospitality-first culture, welcoming employees, candidates, vendors, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- 3Coordinate new hire onboarding, including welcome materials, office tours, and first-day setup.
- 4Manage visitor logistics: conference room setup, catering, refreshments, and meeting coordination for interviews, executive meetings, and events.
- 5Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, Lunch & Learns, and company meals.
- 6Supervise workplace vendors (janitorial, coffee, plants, supplies) and ensure quality performance.
- 7Handle building maintenance requests, facility repairs, and safety checks.
- 8Manage office inventory, purchasing, shipping, mail, and supplies.
- 9Conduct regular office walkthroughs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- 10Create and maintain workplace procedures, checklists, and documentation.

- 13-5+ years in Office Management, Workplace Experience, Hospitality, or Facilities Coordination.
