Overview
You will own architecture, engineering, and 24/7 operational support for Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and Kubernetes platforms across our enterprise environment. Your team of platform engineers will rely on you to set standards and drive automation. You will design and maintain Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads, shaping the future of our infrastructure. What You'll Do8
- 1Lead architecture and engineering for Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.
- 2Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized application hosting environments.
- 3Establish platform engineering standards and reference architectures for Windows and Kubernetes.
- 4Drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives with Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
- 5Own the operational lifecycle, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning for critical systems.
- 6Collaborate with application teams to deploy and scale containerized workloads on Kubernetes.
- 7Develop and enforce security and compliance policies across Windows and Kubernetes environments.
- 8Mentor and guide junior engineers in platform best practices and automation techniques.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V).
- 23+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
- 3Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions for automation.
- 4Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- 5Deep understanding of networking, storage, and security in virtualized and containerized environments.
- 6Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure.
- 7Ability to lead technical projects and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
