Wendy's Crew Member, Fast Food Service in Pittsburgh
Overview
As a Wendy's crew member, you will own the customer experience at the counter and drive-thru, handling orders, cash, and food prep in a high-volume restaurant. You will work alongside a tight-knit team in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and speed matter. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules, self-paced training, and clear paths to promotion. You will gain hands-on experience in customer service, food safety, and cash handling, with the support of a national brand.
What You'll Do8
- 1Take customer orders accurately at the counter and drive-thru using the POS system, handling cash and card payments.
- 2Prepare and assemble food items, including burgers, fries, and drinks, following Wendy's quality and safety standards.
- 3Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining area, kitchen, and restrooms, during your shift.
- 4Open or close the restaurant, following checklists for cash reconciliation, equipment shutdown, and cleaning.
- 5Assist in training new crew members on station procedures and Wendy's service standards.
- 6Resolve customer concerns promptly, escalating to management when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- 7Restock ingredients and supplies to meet demand during rush periods, minimizing wait times.
- 8Follow health and safety protocols, including proper handwashing and food storage, to prevent contamination.
Requirements8
- 1Prior restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but open to all educational backgrounds.
- 3Able to work flexible shifts, including day, night, and weekend availability.
- 4Reliable transportation to commute to Aliquippa, PA 15001, and ability to relocate before starting work.
- 5Authorized to work in the US and able to pass a background check if required.
- 6Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- 7Basic math and cash handling skills for register operations.
- 8Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask during rush hours.
