What You'll Do5
- 1Build welds using manual or semi automatic equipment in various positions
- 2Repair machinery by welding pieces and filling gaps to plan specs
- 3Weld beams plates studs and rebar according to plan specs
- 4Assist in all aspects of the shoring and drilling operation
- 5Prepare surfaces by cleaning and grinding before welding to ensure quality
Requirements10
- 1Experience using welding equipment and procedures SMAW MIG etc
- 2Experience with saws grinders squares calipers rulers clamps
- 3Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- 4Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use PPE
- 5Structural welding certification
- 6Willing to work 10+ hour days and Saturdays
- 7Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 8Must pass background check and drug screening
- 9Authorized to work in the United States
- 10Able to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
