What You'll Do29
- 1Read and interpret steel erection and shop drawings
- 2Create layouts on concrete and existing structures
- 3Shakeout steel according to erection sequence
- 4Prepare hardware for materials
- 5Determine proper rigging slings and hardware
- 6Establish communication with crane operators
- 7Detect faulty equipment and notify foremen
- 8Fabricate metal parts like frames and beams
- 9Work with crew to erect structural steel
- 10Maintain safety culture and lead tasks under pressure
- 11Signal or direct workers during hoisting operations
- 12Select appropriate rigging gear based on load weight
- 13Control heavy equipment movement in confined spaces
- 14Dismantle and store rigging equipment
- 15Clamp, tack-weld, and heat-bend parts for welding
- 16Operate hand and power tools for welding
- 17Mark materials with proper job numbers
- 18Prepare surfaces for welding
- 19Clean or degrease parts using various methods
- 20Repair products by dismantling and reassembling
- 21Gouge metals using air-arc gouging
- 22Preheat workpieces before welding
- 23Connect columns and beams with bolts
- 24Hoist steel members using cranes
- 25Assemble hoisting equipment
- 26Erect metal or concrete components
- 27Operate telescopic forklift and boom lift
- 28Weld 3G and 4G with different applications

Requirements12
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 24+ years experience as an Ironworker
- 3Ability to operate telescopic forklift and boom lift
- 4Weld 3G and 4G with different applications
- 5OSHA/MSHA or other safety certifications are a plus
- 6Comfortable working at heights
- 7Experience in bull-rigging is a plus
- 8Heavy industrial experience in shutdowns or turnarounds
- 9Discretion in phone usage
- 10Great communication skills with crane operators
- 11Ability to handle minimal supervision
- 12Strong commitment to safety culture
