Own the dispatch and logistics for all wedding and event installations at Flowers For Dreams, a socially conscious floral brand in Chicago. You will coordinate a team of 35+ installers and design managers, driving on-time delivery and flawless execution. What You'll Do9
- 1Supervise wedding and event setup teams as they load florals, hardware, and materials on installation days
- 2Act as the primary contact for drivers and installation specialists, troubleshooting issues in real time
- 3Recruit and train operations staff to ramp up for peak seasons and support growth
- 4Schedule, staff, and train installation teams for all weddings and events, ensuring coverage and skill match
- 5Design KPIs to track continuous improvement, margins, and profitability for each event
- 6Build and implement scalable processes for wedding and event fulfillment, from order to strike
- 7Coordinate communication with installation and strike teams before, during, and after every event
- 8Liaise between sales and production to guarantee 100% client satisfaction
- 9Manage a team of 35+ lead installers and design managers, fostering a positive, high-performance culture
Requirements10
- 12+ years in operations, management, or logistics role
- 2Proficiency in scheduling, operations, and margin management
- 3Incredible attention to detail with excellent task management skills
- 4Level-headed personality with a passion for problem solving
- 5Proven ability to build large teams and operate them profitably
- 6Track record of success in CPG, light manufacturing, or floral/event industries
- 7People-person with excellent communication and enthusiasm
- 8Professional demeanor and ability to lift 50 lbs
- 9Ability to drive a F4D vehicle
- 10Knowledge of flowers and floral design experience preferred
