Wax Specialist owns a full schedule of face and body waxing services at PRIDE WAX in St. Pete, serving a growing client base. You handle men's and women's waxing, with a specialty in manzillian (Brazilian for men) as the primary differentiator. You join a close-knit team in a booming studio near downtown St. Pete. Sales and skincare knowledge drive your success. Your first 90 days focus on building a loyal clientele and hitting retail sales targets.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own a full appointment book delivering face and body waxing, including manzillian and vajacial services, with precise technique
- 2Build a repeat client base through consultative skincare recommendations and product sales, boosting retail revenue
- 3Master the PRIDE WAX service menu, including micro-needling add-ons, to upsell and cross-sell
- 4Drive client retention with follow-up scheduling and education on post-wax care
- 5Maintain a spotless treatment room, sterilizing tools per Florida health code, ensuring a safe experience
- 6Collaborate with fellow specialists to cover peak hours and support store operations
- 7Track personal sales metrics and adjust approach based on weekly performance data
- 8Deliver a welcoming, inclusive environment for all clients, reflecting St. Pete's community
Requirements7
- 11+ years professional face and body waxing experience, with manzillian specialty preferred
- 2Active Florida Esthetician or Cosmetology license required
- 3Sales experience and skin-care product knowledge, proven in a retail setting
- 4Facial and micro-needling experience a bonus
- 5Full or Part-time availability, including weekends and evenings
- 6Commitment to hygiene standards and industry best practices
- 7Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
