What You'll Do11
- 1Monitor water production processes and equipment using manual checks and SCADA automation
- 2Perform water quality sampling and analysis to meet federal state and EPA standards
- 3Operate and maintain plant equipment including preventive maintenance tasks
- 4Utilize maintenance software to track work orders and documentation
- 5Conduct routine repairs and calibrations of treatment plant systems
- 6Analyze operational trends and prepare regulatory reports
- 7Adjust processes during emergencies and coordinate with contractors
- 8Assist in developing standard operating procedures
- 9Oversee compliance with safety protocols and hazardous material handling
- 10Support regulatory inspections and provide technical expertise
- 11Collaborate with maintenance staff to optimize equipment performance
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent credential
- 2Valid Florida Class B or C Drinking Water license
- 3Four to six years of progressive water production experience
- 4Physical ability to lift forty pounds regularly
- 5Background check clearance and drug screening completion
- 6Experience with SCADA systems and water treatment software
- 7Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends and holidays
- 8Strong decision-making skills under pressure
