Warehouse Supervisor, 3PL & Distribution
Overview
You will own daily warehouse operations for a high-volume 3PL site, delivering safe, quality service to MBTA. You will lead a team of associates, enforce EHS standards, and hit KPIs for productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will partner with internal teams and customer stakeholders to drive continuous improvement through Lean principles. What You'll Do10
- 1Enforce EHS policies and legal regulations, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- 2Lead daily operations, organize staff, and train associates to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- 3Schedule teams to meet volume demands, optimize workflow, and minimize overtime.
- 4Monitor departmental KPIs and implement action plans to rectify off-target performance.
- 5Respond to customer requests within SLA timelines through proper channels.
- 6Prepare and lead daily team briefings using the Comm Cell, promoting two-way communication.
- 7Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports including End of Day reporting and 15-minute sheets.
- 8Utilize visual management tools to drive business decisions and track performance.
- 9Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- 10Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
Requirements9
- 1Associates Degree or equivalent experience
- 23+ years of supervisory experience
- 35 years of 3PL and/or warehouse distribution experience
- 4Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 5Intermediate knowledge of WMS (Oracle preferred)
- 6Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- 7Proven ability to achieve results and meet KPIs
- 8Ability to work under pressure and handle conflict
- 9Flexibility with working hours to meet operational needs
