Warehouse Specialist, Shipping & Fulfillment
Overview
You will own order fulfillment in a Redford distribution center, picking, packing, and shipping safety footwear to direct customers. What You'll Do8
- 1Pick, pack, and ship customer orders using a WMS to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- 2Process outbound shipments in a fulfillment center, verifying each order against packing lists.
- 3Receive incoming inventory and confirm product details, performing receiving clerk functions.
- 4Stock and replenish inventory in designated warehouse locations, maintaining optimal levels.
- 5Run quality control checks before shipment, catching errors before orders leave the building.
- 6Prepare shipments for carrier pickup, including labeling, sealing, and staging outbound pallets.
- 7Keep work areas organized and clean, following 5S principles to reduce errors and improve flow.
- 8Collaborate with teammates to hit daily fulfillment goals, stepping in where needed.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or distribution environment.
- 2Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.
- 3Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy.
- 4Basic computer skills, including scanning and data entry into a WMS.
- 5Reliable and team-oriented, but able to work solo when required.
- 6Must be 18 years or older.
- 7Flexibility to work Monday-Friday with occasional schedule adjustments.
