You will sort, organize, and prepare packages and products for shipment, managing daily volume across designated storage zones. What You'll Do10
- 1Sort packages and products by label, order, or designated location, using barcode scanners to verify accuracy.
- 2Check package labels and basic information before placing items in the correct area, flagging any errors.
- 3Organize products and packages in storage zones to ensure easy retrieval, following warehouse layout guidelines.
- 4Move packages safely between work areas, using pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- 5Assist with preparing sorted packages for shipment, applying shipping labels and sealing boxes.
- 6Inspect packages for visible damage and report issues to a supervisor immediately.
- 7Apply or replace labels when instructed, using label printers and RFID tags as directed.
- 8Help organize storage, sorting, and shipping areas to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- 9Follow workplace safety procedures and daily instructions, including OSHA guidelines.
- 10Assist coworkers with routine warehouse tasks, such as loading and unloading, to meet daily targets.
