Warehouse Clerk, Inventory & Order Prep
Overview
You will own inventory readiness and order packaging in a small, high-volume facility, ensuring every count matches records exactly. Inventory counts, SKU verification, and master pack labeling define the daily rhythm. You join a tight-knit team of 5-10 warehouse staff and report to the floor supervisor. This temporary role offers 8:30 AM-5:00 PM shifts, weekly pay, and the chance to extend into a permanent position. What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare inventory for scheduled counts by staging products and organizing storage areas for accurate counting.

- 4Label master packs and individual items clearly, using barcode scanners and inventory software.
- 5Package products to company standards, confirming quantities before sealing and labeling.
- 6Prepare boxes, padding, and packing materials for daily orders and inventory replenishment.
- 7Enter count data and adjustments into the warehouse management system, checking entries for errors.
- 8Maintain a clean, obstruction-free workspace that meets safety guidelines and supports efficient flow.
- 9Adapt to shift priorities, assisting with picking, packing, receiving, or material handling as volumes spike.
- 10Work overtime on designated dates to meet inventory deadlines and period-end counts.
Requirements9
- 11+ years in a warehouse or distribution role, with proven accuracy in inventory counting and SKU verification.
- 2Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- 3Basic computer literacy to enter and verify data in inventory management software.
- 4Solid record of reliable attendance and punctuality in prior positions.
- 5Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors on daily tasks.
- 6Comfort following written procedures and verbal instructions without supervision.
- 7Flexibility to work overtime on short notice, especially during peak seasons.
- 8Prior experience with RF scanners and barcode labeling systems is a plus.
- 92-3 years of related experience preferred, but strong attention to detail outweighs tenure.
