Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk
Overview
Own inventory accuracy for a 6-month project at CoreTechs, conducting cycle counts and system cleanup across thousands of parts. Work on-site in Richmond, CA, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30/4pm, with occasional weekend shifts. Collaborate with technicians and team members to locate parts and standardize records. This role offers flexible hours after training and a clear month-by-month roadmap for measurable results.
What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct cycle counts on inventory to verify quantities and correct discrepancies.
- 2Update the inventory system with missing parts, correct descriptions, and accurate quantities.
- 3Reorganize parts room shelves, label parts, and maintain a clean storage layout.
- 4Identify excess or misplaced parts outside the parts room and return them to inventory.
- 5Shelve excess or newly identified parts following company standards.
- 6Complete documentation cleanup by standardizing part descriptions, categories, and locations.
- 7Support mid-assignment and end-of-assignment inventory audits to confirm improvements.
- 8Assist technicians and staff in locating parts and answering availability questions.
Requirements9
- 11-4 years in a similar inventory control role.
- 2Ability to work with limited supervision.
- 3Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- 4Working knowledge of Microsoft PC programs.
- 5Experience with CMMS is nice to have.
- 6Experience with mechanical and consumable parts inventory procedures.
- 7Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs.
- 8Standing pallet jack experience.
- 9Forklift certification nice to have.
