Overview
We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support a 6-month project focused on inventory tracking, barcode scanning, and data accuracy. This position will own the collection and verification of inventory information to ensure accurate records. The role involves barcode scanning, data entry, and reconciliation while maintaining organized documentation of materials and assets.
What You'll Do8
- 1Perform barcode scanning and physical inventory tracking
- 2Enter and update inventory data accurately in company systems
- 3Verify inventory information and identify discrepancies
- 4Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation
- 5Maintain accurate records of materials equipment and assets
- 6Review data for completeness and accuracy
- 7Communicate inventory discrepancies or issues to appropriate team members
- 8Support additional inventory and data entry activities as needed
Requirements6
- 1Previous experience in inventory data entry warehouse operations asset tracking
- 2Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- 3Comfortable using barcode scanners and computer-based inventory systems
- 4Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data entry tools
- 5Ability to work independently and complete repetitive detail-oriented tasks
- 6Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
