Warehouse Materials Coordinator, GMP Pharma & Biotech
Overview
You will own material receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution across two LA-area facilities, supporting GMP manufacturing and development labs. You will maintain inventory accuracy in NetSuite and other systems, coordinate with lab managers, and ensure safe, compliant operations. This contract role offers a path to full-time conversion for candidates who demonstrate reliability and precision in a regulated environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Load, unload, and move materials using hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks, ensuring timely distribution.
- 2Receive all incoming shipments, verify against purchase orders, and process receipts in NetSuite with supporting certificates.
- 3Enter inventory data accurately and perform cycle counts to maintain ERP system integrity.
- 4Dispense raw materials for GMP production and development, monitoring Kanban areas for optimal stock levels.
- 5Coordinate with lab managers to guarantee supply availability for development labs.
- 6Support drug product and sample shipment pack-out, following GMP documentation.
- 7Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles, shelves, and workspaces.
- 8Report damaged or missing inventory to management immediately.
- 9Manage assets through CMMS and EMS systems, documenting maintenance and monitoring.
- 10Follow all company policies, health and safety regulations, and GMP guidelines.
Requirements8
- 13+ years in supply chain or materials management within pharma or biotech, with cell therapy experience a plus.
- 2Direct experience in warehouse operations, materials planning, or procurement in a GMP facility.
- 3Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and familiarity with CMMS and EMS.
- 4High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5Ability to lift heavy materials and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- 6Comfort with standing for long periods and working in a fast-moving environment.
- 7Flexibility to work onsite in Tarzana, CA, from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
- 8Authorization to work in the US and willingness to complete background check and drug screen.
Salary Insight
