Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Manager to lead our Shipping/Receiving team in a high‑volume manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will own daily operations, drive workflow improvements, and ensure seamless movement of raw materials and finished goods. This is a hands‑on floor‑based role where you will solve problems in real time and stay visible to your team. It is not a typical office position focused on spreadsheet management.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage staffing schedules to meet daily receiving and shipping targets
- 2Set and improve workflow procedures that increase speed while maintaining safety and quality standards
- 3Train, coach, and develop team members and intervene during operational issues
- 4Maintain equipment and minimize downtime through proactive monitoring
- 5Own departmental performance metrics and report progress to leadership
- 6Conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies accurately
- 7Manage ERP/WMS transactions to ensure data integrity
- 8Hire supervise and evaluate performance of the Shipping/Receiving team
- 9Identify and flag cross‑department problems before they escalate
- 10Lead daily operations with strong leadership and clear communication skills
Requirements8
- 15+ years of hands‑on warehousing operations experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
- 22+ years supervisory experience in a warehouse or production setting
- 32+ years familiarity with ERP/WMS systems
- 4Proven ability to train teams on productivity and safety
- 5Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- 6High school diploma or equivalent education
- 7Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree
- 8Experience with project management is a plus
