Warehouse Manager, Multi-Client Logistics & P&L
Overview
You will own all operations at a multi-client warehouse in Whitestown, Indiana, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. What You'll Do10
- 1Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, directing receipt, storage, and dispatch for multiple clients using WMS.
- 2Design workflows that handle diverse client requirements and rework WMS configurations to fit changing needs.
- 3Own the client relationship: set expectations, handle escalations, and review performance metrics with each account.
- 4Rebuild warehouse layout: map zones, set pick paths, and cut travel time by 20% in the first 90 days.
- 5Lead and train staff: set productivity targets, coach on safe practices, and build a culture of ownership.
- 6Drive inventory accuracy: spearhead cycle counts, root-cause variances, and reduce shrinkage below 0.5%.
- 7Enforce safety: run audits, lead the Team Member Safety Committee, and stay ahead of OSHA standards.
- 8Track and share KPIs: order accuracy, turnaround, cost per unit, and present monthly financial reviews.
- 9Manage P&L: control labor and overhead costs, grow account revenue, and hit budget targets.
- 10Support business growth: spot upsell chances, renew contracts, and win new business with sales.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally in multi-client operations.
- 2Proven P&L ownership: you've managed a budget and hit revenue growth and profitability targets.
- 3Hands-on WMS expertise: you've used systems like SAP EWM, Manhattan, or Blue Yonder.
- 4Forklift certification current and willingness to operate as needed.
- 5Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain (preferred) but not required.
- 6Track record in account management or business development, expanding client contracts.
- 7Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations in warehousing.
- 8Reliable transportation and legal work authorization in the US.
- 9At least 18 years old, able to pass background check and drug test.
