What You'll Do10
- 1Verify incoming shipments against packing slips, entering data into the system and escalating shortages or damage.
- 2Process and store incoming stock within 24 hours, ensuring correct bin locations and barcoding.
- 3Assign locations and update the system for all new parts, labeling and organizing them.
- 4Check in inter-branch shipments, generate picking lists, and stage parts for delivery.
- 5Pull customer orders and prepare them for will call, shipment, or delivery.
- 6Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow all safety policies.
- 7Manage will-call bins by keeping parts and paperwork organized.
- 8Process junk cores by tagging, storing, and returning them to vendors weekly.
- 9Dispatch drivers and provide accurate driving directions as needed.
- 10Process customer returns and file freight claims for shortages or damage within 24 hours.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 23+ months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
- 3Valid driver's license with a clean driving record meeting company insurability standards.
- 4Complete forklift training and obtain certification within 90 days.
- 5Ability to lift 25+ pounds.
- 6At least 18 years old for forklift operation.
