Warehouse Associate, Sit-Down Forklift & Inventory
Overview
You'll own receiving, picking, and inventory accuracy at a national company's Monroe, NC facility, handling daily shipments and orders. You'll operate sit-down forklifts and use WMS systems to keep operations sharp. You'll join a small team where your work directly meets customer expectations. This temp-to-hire role offers $16.00/hour with a Monday-Friday 6am-2pm schedule.
What You'll Do7
- 1Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments, using sit-down forklifts and WMS to log inventory
- 2Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision, verifying quantities and labels against packing slips
- 3Operate sit-down forklifts to move pallets and materials, ensuring safe handling of 30-50lb loads
- 4Run cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy, flagging and resolving discrepancies
- 5Load and unload trucks, coordinating with the team to keep dock flow steady
- 6Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following safety and hygiene standards
- 7Collaborate with a small team to meet daily fulfillment goals and customer deadlines
Requirements8
- 12+ years of recent and consistent warehouse experience
- 2Valid Forklift certification with 2+ years of recent sit-down forklift experience
- 3Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification
- 4Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) for data entry and communication
- 5Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) for order tracking
- 6Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- 7Able to stand for long periods and lift 30-50lbs regularly
- 8Comfortable working in non-temperature controlled environments
