Warehouse Associate, Shipping & 4PM Shift
Overview
Own daily order fulfillment in a fast paced distribution facility with safety and accuracy driving productivity. You will perform one or more distribution tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or replenishment across assigned areas. You will contribute to continuous improvement and operate in a metric driven environment. This role emphasizes hands on work, safety, and teamwork in a onsite setting with regular interaction with supervisors and peers.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build order filling, packing, and shipping workflows to meet daily customer commitments
- 2Contribute to safe operations and housekeeping in the distribution area
- 3Assist with receiving, returns, and replenishment as needed to maintain stock levels
- 4Handle equipment like pallet jacks and manually move products through the facility
- 5Support continuous improvement ideas within the distribution process in team settings
- 6Collaborate with supervisors and leads to exchange task related information
- 7Participate in fast paced, metric driven environment to meet performance targets
- 8Engage in cross functional task assignments across different distribution functions
- 9Assist in loading and sorting activities to optimize throughput
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Basic verbal and written English communication
- 3Basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication
- 4Basic computer skills including internet navigation and document handling
- 5Ability to lift 70 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds infrequently
- 6Ability to push, pull, grasp and manipulate equipment using hands
- 7Walk on uneven surfaces infrequently
- 8Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- 9Flexible schedule availability is a plus
- 101 year previous related experience preferred
Salary Insight
$40 - $42k per year
