Warehouse Associate, Packaging & Shipping
Overview
You will own packaging, receiving, and shipping operations for Forward Enterprises' manufacturing line in Houston, Texas. You will handle every aspect of product flow from inbound to outbound. English fluency is required for shift communication. This full-time role pays $15-$17 per hour with guaranteed day shift hours.
What You'll Do9
- 1Package products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and protection against damage.
- 2Receive incoming materials, verify counts against purchase orders, and log them into inventory.
- 3Ship outgoing orders by selecting carriers, printing labels, and staging pallets.
- 4Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials across the warehouse floor.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols.
- 6Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- 7Collaborate with the production team to prioritize packaging and shipping schedules.
- 8Escalate any discrepancies or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
- 9Document daily shipping and receiving activities in the WMS system.
Requirements7
- 11+ year experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- 2Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 3Proficiency with English for reading labels and communicating with team members.
- 4Basic computer skills for WMS data entry.
- 5OSHA safety certification preferred.
- 6Reliable transportation to the Houston facility.
- 7Flexibility to work day shift Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime.
