Overview
You will operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move cotton bales through our Austin warehouse. You will join a team serving 250+ grower-owners, supporting the harvest surge with seasonal and full-time roles. What You'll Do7
- 1Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to load, unload, and stack cotton bales.
- 2Use WMS and handheld scanners to assign locations, separate inventory, and proof shipments.
- 3Pick, pack, and label orders to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- 4Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and report mechanical issues to maintenance.
- 5Keep the floor clean and hazard-free per OSHA guidelines.
- 6Assist with routine maintenance, grounds upkeep, and general warehouse sanitation.
- 7Complete forklift training sessions and cross-train on order pickers as needed.
Requirements7
- 11+ years warehouse experience in a distribution or logistics setting.
- 26+ months operating powered equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
- 3Comfort using WMS or AS400 for inventory tracking.
- 4Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for full shifts.
- 5Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment.
- 6High school diploma or GED.
- 7Team-oriented with clear communication skills.
