Wardrobe Consultant, Luxury Menswear & Client Development
Overview
You will own a portfolio of high-net-worth clients and prospects, building a substantial book of business within The House of Baumann's 55,000-square-foot North Dallas flagship. You will conduct private wardrobe consultations, fittings, and trunk shows, working closely with tailoring and production teams to deliver a true luxury experience. This role is for an established, relationship-driven professional ready to combine their network with one of Dallas's most distinctive custom menswear experiences. Success means becoming a trusted advisor, not just a salesperson.
What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and manage your own portfolio of clients and prospects, introducing your existing network to The House of Baumann's custom menswear offerings.
- 2Prospect consistently to create new business opportunities through referrals, events, and your own outreach.
- 3Conduct private wardrobe consultations and fittings, learning each client's profession, lifestyle, and preferences to recommend complete wardrobes.
- 4Drive repeat business through proactive follow-up and wardrobe planning, anticipating seasonal and event needs.
- 5Build referral relationships with executives, business owners, and community leaders, earning introductions to their networks.
- 6Participate in private client events, executive fittings, and corporate experiences to showcase The House of Baumann's offerings.
- 7Maintain detailed client records, including measurements, preferences, and purchase history, to personalize service.
- 8Collaborate with tailoring, production, and operations teams to ensure an exceptional client experience from consultation to final fitting.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in luxury retail, custom clothing, or a relationship-driven industry such as real estate, financial services, or private clubs.
- 2Proven track record of building and maintaining a strong professional network or clientele that trusts your recommendations.
- 3Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to self-generate business and take ownership of your success.
- 4Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable interacting with C-suite executives, business owners, and other discerning clients.
- 5Polished presentation and professionalism, aligning with the luxury standards of The House of Baumann.
- 6Experience with wardrobe planning, custom tailoring, or men's fashion is a plus, but not required.
- 7Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships and generate repeat business through exceptional service.
- 8Ability to work onsite at the North Dallas flagship, with flexibility for evening and weekend events.
Salary Insight
$69 - $83k per year
