What You'll Do8

  • 1Lead the monthly close and deliver accurate financial statements aligned with GAAP and internal standards.
  • 2Direct the finance team, covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll oversight.
  • 3Monitor billing, collections, and vendor disbursements to protect working capital as transaction volume rises.
  • 4Prepare cash flow projections and report on liquidity, operating trends, and key risks to finance leadership.
  • 5Review results for debt covenant compliance and support lender and owner reporting requirements.
  • 6Strengthen finance processes and controls to support growth in a fast-moving food manufacturing environment.
  • 7Oversee budgeting and month-end activities to maintain consistency and accountability across the finance function.
  • 8Complete the MRP rollout with focus on inventory valuation, cost tracking, and reporting integrity.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years in a senior finance, controllership, or executive accounting role with responsibility for financial reporting and close processes.
  • 2Strong background in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and finance leadership within an operating business.
  • 33+ years managing teams responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • 4Familiarity with debt covenant monitoring, financial adjustments, and investor, lender, or ownership reporting.
  • 5Prior experience in manufacturing, food production, light industrial, or operations-driven environments is strongly preferred.
  • 6Hands-on leadership style that keeps core finance operations running smoothly.
  • 7Knowledge of annual budget development, month-end close, budget processes, and financial reporting best practices.
