Overview
Remote Kansas City Missouri position responsible for short-term crisis intervention and emotional support for alcohol and drugged driving victims. Provide court accompaniment and coordinate referrals for legal financial and medical systems. Collaborate with Victim Services staff to deliver consultations and support. Remote work requires residence in Kansas City Missouri. Salary $45,000.

- 1Conduct individual needs assessments for crash survivors to deliver tailored interventions and create action plans
- 2Accompany victims to justice proceedings when appropriate
- 3Advocate for victims rights and educate stakeholders about criminal civil justice processes
- 4Plan and execute fundraising events leveraging development skills
- 5Perform community needs assessments to design outreach strategies for underserved populations
- 6Recruit and train volunteers to support victim service initiatives
- 7Maintain accurate case records and grant reports per MADD standards
- 8Develop networks with legal medical and social service professionals
- 9Analyze collected data to inform program development and resource allocation
- 10Implement data entry into online systems and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- 11Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong organizational abilities
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in human services with one year victim advocacy experience or bereavement support experience
- 2Reliable transportation for court attendance
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 5Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments
- 6Strong customer service orientation and ethical standards
