Overview
Manage data systems overseeing Victim Services/Restorative Justice and Prison Rape Elimination Act units. Develop documents coordinate across DOC facilities and partners. Troubleshoot processes enhance efficiency with technology. Handle increased case volume. Provide financial and administrative oversight for contractors and grants. Support Director and first point of contact for crime victims and agencies.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage and improve unit data systems supporting collection and evaluation
- 2Collaborate with MN.IT and committees develop training provide guidance respond to inquiries
- 3Execute and monitor contracts for VSRJ and PREA units
- 4Provide structure support backup for Supervised Release Board and clemency processes
- 5Primary responsibility for finance and administrative matters for VSRJ and PREA units
- 6Analyze and report to Interstate Compact transfer requests regarding victim issues
- 7Support Director and participate in teams responding to emerging needs
- 8Troubleshoot system problems and develop advanced solutions for increased case load
- 9Create systems for tracking grant activities and measuring progress
- 10Develop data-related training and evaluate offender records
- 11Coordinate with criminal justice systems using CJIS COMS S3 BCA CJIS
Requirements16
- 1Two years experience supporting business information systems research data analysis reporting documentation
- 2Bachelor degree may substitute one year experience
- 3Skill in interpreting court ordered documents making quick decisions solving problems
- 4Data entry and database management proficiency
- 5Interpersonal communication clear oral written with stakeholders
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Word Excel for memos spreadsheets
- 7Ability to properly obtain examine interpret process information from criminal justice systems
- 8English language skills reading explaining interpreting documents
- 9Customer service skills prompt courteous accurate information via phone email
- 10Experience working with offender records sorting organizing filing
- 11Experience with crime victims restorative justice sexual violence
- 12Knowledge of Minnesota Data Practices Act
