Overview

You coordinate the application and compliance review processes for the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board and Sex Offender Management Board. You manage the SOMB Approved Provider List and advise the Application Review Committees on policy. You work in a hybrid environment, two days per week in the Lakewood office, collaborating with criminal justice, treatment, and victim service partners. This role requires a Colorado resident and successful completion of a background investigation that includes a polygraph exam.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Serve as primary staff for the SOMB ARC, guiding statutory mandates for provider applications and complaints.
  • 2Maintain the statewide DVOMB and SOMB Approved Provider Lists, updating records and responding to inquiries.
  • 3Direct the maintenance of provider data systems, ensuring accuracy of application and renewal records.
  • 4Interpret and explain standards to applicants and stakeholders, clarifying policy and technical assistance approaches.
  • 5Collaborate with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) to align on SOMB Standards and resolve complaints.
  • 6Analyze application and provider data with the ODVSOM Statistical Analyst to report metrics for governance.
  • 7Facilitate ARC meetings, document decisions, and communicate outcomes to providers and boards.
  • 8Develop policy recommendations for the ARCs and Boards to improve compliance processes.

Requirements6

  • 16+ years of relevant experience in program coordination of application and compliance review for sex offender programs.
  • 2Relevant education combined with experience equal to 6 years (transcripts required if using education).
  • 3Successful completion of a background investigation that includes a polygraph exam, fingerprint check, reference check, and driving history.
  • 4Valid driver's license at hire, with a Colorado-issued license within 30 days.
  • 5Colorado residency at the time of application.
  • 6Ability to travel statewide in varied weather conditions.
