
Vice President of Investor Relations, Financial Services & Capital Markets
Overview
The VP of Investor Relations will own the strategy and execution for investor engagement at scale in a highly regulated financial services environment. You will build and nurture relationships with accredited investors, high-net-worth individuals, and financial executives, and lead education and outreach about available investment opportunities. You will drive a robust investor pipeline, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with leadership to shape messaging and outreach. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and sustain relationships with accredited investors, business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals to expand the investor base
- 2Educate prospective investors on available opportunities and conduct presentations and investment discussions
- 3Generate new business through networking, referrals, community engagement, and relationship development
- 4Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective investors and provide timely updates to leadership
- 5Deliver exceptional client service and ongoing relationship management to optimize long-term value
- 6Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations and company policies
- 7Collaborate with internal teams to align investor messaging with company strategy
- 8Report on investor activity and outcomes to senior leadership to inform decision making
- 9Coordinate across broker-dealers and external partners to streamline processes
- 10Advise on capital-raising initiatives and contribute to strategic planning
Requirements8
- 1Active FINRA Series 7 license preferred
- 2Series 63 and/or Series 82 required
- 3Previous experience in investment sales, wealth management, brokerage, capital raising, or financial services
- 4Strong relationship-building and business development skills
- 5Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- 6Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- 7Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and internal teams
- 8Candidates with experience from wirehouses, independent broker-dealers, wealth management firms, investment consulting firms, capital markets organizations, or alternative investment platforms are encouraged to apply
