Vice President General Manager, Waterfront Resort
Overview
Lead the Sheraton San Diego resort and marina as the executive with full P&L ownership. Direct 500+ associates, drive revenue optimization, and execute strategic initiatives to exceed ownership and Marriott expectations. Partner with Sales and Marketing to grow market share, and with Finance and Engineering to execute capital plans. This role offers a competitive package including performance bonus and full benefits.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and retain a high-performing leadership team, fostering accountability and collaboration aligned with Peregrine's Service Culture.
- 2Drive financial success by developing annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts, and implementing initiatives that maximize profitability and long-term asset value.
- 3Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to drive revenue growth, market share, and strategic relationships with ownership and community partners.
- 4Develop and execute strategic initiatives leveraging innovation, technology, and sustainability to improve operational performance and maintain competitive position.
- 5Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and safety standards, maintaining a secure environment for guests and associates.
- 6Foster positive associate and labor relations by promoting open communication, engagement, and respect, partnering with Human Resources on labor agreements and conflict resolution.
- 7Drive operational excellence across all resort and marina functions, including guest satisfaction and associate engagement.
- 8Lead capital improvement planning with Finance, Engineering, and Peregrine's Development team.
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree OR 5+ years of professional experience in a related field.
- 2Previous General Manager experience in a resort or full-service property.
- 3Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 4Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs regularly.
- 5Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Salary Insight
$325 - $350k per year
