Overview
You'll own patient care and client communication at TotalBond Bethel, a full-service hospital in Charlotte, NC. You'll support DVMs with exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. Your team spans Veterinary Technicians and Assistants who share a passion for animal welfare. What You'll Do7
- 1Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
- 2Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during procedures.
- 3Communicate clearly with clients on care instructions and status updates.
- 4Perform technical duties: lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
- 5Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
- 6Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
- 7Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
Requirements5
- 11+ years experience in animal care or veterinary setting.
- 2Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
- 3Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes.
- 4Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
- 5Strong client communication skills.
