What You'll Do7
- 1Provide quality patient care with a Fear Free approach during exams, injections, and treatments.
- 2Restrain patients for veterinary procedures like induction and blood draws.
- 3Clean and pack surgical instruments, prep the surgical suite, and maintain hospital cleanliness.
- 4Stock exam rooms, treatment areas, and operating rooms.
- 5Process laboratory samples and run in-hospital blood panels.
- 6Assist veterinarians and technicians with daily tasks.
- 7Keep accurate patient records and logs.
Requirements7
- 13-5 years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a clinical setting.
- 2Fear Free certification or demonstrated commitment to low-stress handling.
- 3Hands-on experience with surgical instrument sterilization and surgical suite prep.
- 4Proficiency in venipuncture and running in-house lab equipment.
- 5Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing hospital needs.
- 6Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- 7Flexibility to work full-time including some weekends.
