Overview

Part-Time venue specialist supporting events at MCASD. This role serves as house coordinator and vendor liaison. Responsibilities include providing on-site support during events and maintaining A/V systems. Must handle load in/out and evening operations. Requires physical stamina and teamwork.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Act as steward of facility for museum and rental events

  • 4Maintain and operate in-house AV equipment
  • 5Move and set up heavy equipment in confined spaces
  • 6Support outdoor events in all weather conditions
  • 7Coordinate caterers and subcontractors for rental events
  • 8Ensure regular upkeep of A/V systems
  • 9Work multiple night weekend and holiday shifts
  • 10Complete reports following events
  • 11Solve problems while performing duties

Requirements7

  • 12 years recent relevant experience in event production coordination
  • 2Proficiency with MS Office
  • 3Ability to work in basement storage spaces and at heights
  • 4Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • 5Experience with AV equipment and event production
  • 6Knowledge of performance event standards
  • 7Background checks and licensing required
