Venue Security – Fillmore Silver Springs Live Nation
Overview
The Venue Security Specialist ensures guest and staff safety at Fillmore Silver Springs. You will patrol, screen individuals, monitor entrances, and operate detection devices. This role differs by focusing on live event security within a premier concert venue.
What You'll Do11
- 1Patrol interior and exterior areas to preserve safety and protect property
- 2Walk through crowds to emphasize security presence
- 3Monitor and authorize employee and guest entries to prevent theft
- 4Write daily reports documenting incidents and irregularities
- 5Operate CEIA OPENGATE and other screening devices
- 6Conduct individual screenings including pat-downs and bag checks
- 7Apprehend and eject unauthorized persons
- 8Assist staff with venue setup and breakdown tasks
- 9Climb stairs and sit occasionally while walking
- 10Carry up to 200 pounds for team tasks
- 11Work in noisy crowded environment with flashing lights
Requirements10
- 1Evening availability required for performances
- 2High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3Acute judgment and diplomacy skills
- 4Handheld radio operation proficiency
- 5Experience in security or law enforcement preferred
- 6Physical ability to lift 75 to 200 pounds
- 7Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- 8Knowledge of venue policies and independent work capability
- 9Ability to adhere to dress code and professional appearance
- 10Valid work authorization without visa sponsorship
