You will own venue operations and sales at Pearl Manor Venue, a private estate hosting once-in-a-lifetime weddings and events. You will lead event setup, dinner service, and cleanup while driving client tours and contract sales. Working alongside a dedicated event coordinator and reporting to the venue director, you will manage inventory, staff scheduling, and facility upkeep. This role demands physical stamina for fast-paced event days and sharp communication to wow clients from first tour to final goodbye.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead event setup: arrange chairs, tables, and exterior elements to match the event plan.
  • 2Direct dinner service: oversee food delivery, staff placement, and guest needs during meals.
  • 3Manage event cleanup: reset the venue, wash dishes, launder linens, and restock supplies.
  • 4Run client tours: showcase the estate with confidence and naturally connect with prospects.
  • 5Drive sales: follow up with tour guests, prepare contracts and invoices, and close bookings.
  • 6Schedule and supervise event staff: assign roles, provide direction, and lead by example.
  • 7Monitor inventory and order supplies: track dinnerware, linens, and janitorial items.
  • 8Coordinate with the kitchen manager to ensure catering accuracy for each event.
  • 9Keep facilities spotless: clean bathrooms, dishes, and common areas on non-event days.
  • 10Support maintenance projects, including operating a zero turn mower safely.

Requirements8

  • 12+ years scheduling and managing teams (required, as stated in application questions).
  • 22+ years operating events, demonstrating speed and efficiency for execution.
  • 3Physical ability for fast-paced event setup and live problem-solving.
  • 4Proficient with CRM software and Excel for tracking clients, contracts, and inventory.
  • 5Strong communication skills to provide a grand client experience from start to finish.
  • 6Willingness to work weekends and evenings (Thursday-Monday schedule, 40-50 hrs/week).
  • 7Ability to work independently with occasional guidance from the venue director.
  • 8Above-average maintenance skills and ability to safely operate a zero-turn mower.
