Overview
You will own vehicle maintenance operations for a top-tier retail fleet, handling fueling, tire repair, and light mechanical duties across 2,200+ stores. What You'll Do9
- 1Fuel tractors and fuel tankers safely and efficiently at designated fueling stations.
- 2Perform tire repairs, including patching, plugging, and mounting tires on fleet vehicles.
- 3Execute PM-A and PM-B preventive maintenance checks, including fluid levels, brakes, and lights.
- 4Diagnose and fix light mechanical issues, such as belt replacements and battery installations.
- 5Document all maintenance activities using Excel and Word to track fleet readiness.
- 6Follow safe work practices and adhere to company policies for hazardous materials.
- 7Support the vehicle maintenance team during peak shifts, including weekends and nights.
- 8Operate shop tools and equipment, including lifts, wrenches, and tire changers.
- 9Inspect vehicles for defects and report issues to the maintenance supervisor promptly.
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED required.
- 21+ year of tire repair experience.
- 3Ability to drive tractors and fuel tankers; CDL not required.
- 4Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- 5Strong reading, writing, and math skills at a proficient level.
- 6Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- 7Capacity to work any shift, including overnight and weekends.
- 8Ability to stand, walk, and work in close quarters for extended periods.
- 9Comfortable working outdoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- 10Manual dexterity and good balance for working at ground level and heights.
