Fueling Equipment Technician
Overview
United Pacific seeks a Fueling Equipment Technician to join the Facilities Maintenance Group in Southern California. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining retail fuel dispensing equipment underground petroleum storage tanks monitoring systems and point of sale registers while supporting regulatory compliance testing. Candidates must resolve repairs efficiently on first site visits and manage physical truck inventory with utilization above ninety percent.
What You'll Do11
- 1Troubleshoot repair and maintain gasoline diesel dispensing equipment pos vapor recovery systems and electronic tank monitoring equipment
- 2Perform general repair maintenance testing and troubleshooting of fueling infrastructure
- 3Maintain physical truck inventory and ensure employee utilization exceeds ninety percent
- 4Resolve repairs on first site visit efficiently and cost effectively
- 5Document labor travel and materials after each service call
- 6Provide legible work orders and communicate with dispatch site personnel and management
- 7Keep service vehicle clean and coordinate regular maintenance
- 8Respond to routine service calls and emergencies including after-hours situations
- 9Maintain hazardous work environment safety and comply with local state regulations
- 10Perform maintenance and repair of retail petroleum facilities
- 11Obtain and retain ICC Service Technician License ICC Vapor Recovery License Hazwoper forty hour safety training
Requirements12
- 15+ years prior fuel system maintenance experience
- 2Demonstrated capability in maintenance and repair of retail petroleum facilities
- 3Valid drivers license and current insurance
- 4Strong communication and handwriting skills
- 5Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- 6Efficient and effective time management
- 7Pass DOT drug screening and background checks per DOT requirements
- 8Success working in fast-paced environment
